Engorgement, plugged ducts, two bouts of mastitis, but I didn't give up! Those booby tubes in partcular would have been a lifesaver. In fact, I'm having supply issues now, so that tea could still come in quite handy, the rest would go to a friend who's expecting...

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

I am a mama to a twenty two month old and have breastfed the whole time! It was sooo hard at the beginning. I remember wanting to jump off the chair for the few weeks but got through that rough beginning with my mom's support and it just got better and easier. Support is key! And a gift pack like this makes it all the more fun! I would love to win this to give to my best friend who is currently expecting! What awonderful way to encourage breast feeding! Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

I nursed my son for almost 14 months. I pumped for 8 months while I worked as a nurse and had several episodes of plugged ducts and mastitis. Despite the difficulties I had, breastfeeding was very important to me and my son. He was so healthy and we both benefitted tremendously.

jasonncaryn at yahoo dot com

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

I subscribed

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

It took my baby a month and half to learn to latch on and this would be great for me now that he is latching on

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

I really want to breastfeed my first baby, due in December. And congrats on continuing to nurse your son into toddlerhood! I nursed my daughter until 22 months...and I'm so glad that I did! We're due in January, and I already bought a jar of the nipple butter. Would love to have the set!

Why I think breastfeeding is important... it truly gives baby's the highest concentrate of nutrients they need. It has been shown to prevent many health issues, and stimulate brain development. My sister was also allergic to dairy while younger, and my mom swears she became so smart (she's a dentist now) because she breast fed her for 22 months (longer than the rest of us! thanks mom). Breast milk is absolutely the best for babies!!

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

What an awesome giveaway! I am breastfeeding my fourth child and proud of it. I encourage all my friends to breastfeed and let them know they can call me anytime for support. This kit would have helped me with baby #2. I only breastfed her 4 months-the shortest of any of my children. I couldn't [or that's what i thought at the time] so the milk maid tea would have been just what I needed.

I would actually split this kit between me, my other breastfeeding buddy and my bff, who is 35 weeks pregnant and plans to breastfeed.

reg8w@aol.com

Re: http://figandsage.blogspot.com/2008/10/giveaway-earth-mama-angel-baby.html

We plan to breastfeed when we have kids.
